Berlin Foodstagram

I love design almost as much as I love food, so naturally seeking out new eateries that have cool interiors, menu designs and signage is high on my list of weekend priorities. As a local it was hard to keep this list short, but if you’re in town for a good time and not a long time, these spots are delicious for the eyes as well as taste buds.

La Lucha

Modern Mexican cuisine by the canal. Salt rimmed cocktails, fun menu design and yes of course, there’s a neon sign.

The sushi bar isn’t set very high in Berlin, but Nihombashi is the first place that I’ve gone back to multiple times wanting more. Fresh food combined with Wes Anderson-like interiors makes for serious maki.

This cosy corner cafe is always packed and for a reason! You only need to take a quick peek at their perfectly styled and shot Instagram account to justify waiting an hour for a table.

Louis Pretty

More Wes Anderson vibes, but I mean, when has anyone complained about that? This place is pastrami heaven, so pull up a (colourful) chair and get ready to eat a sandwich the size of your face. Update: Permanently closed :(

District Mot

Contemporary Vietnamese with Saigon decor. The Phở is always good idea and RnB hot hits are pretty much guaranteed.
