Call for Questions!
Most designers have experienced the pain and suffering that is personal branding. While design is what we do best, it’s always so hard to agree on a solution when you are both the designer and the client.
In 2014 I held a workshop with The Design Kids on how to build your personal brand by creating an engaging online portfolio and web presence. It was aimed at helping students and graduates tackle the dreaded task through providing useful resources and advice based on personal experiences.
As it’s coming to the end of another year, the graduate exhibition invites are coming out full swing. Students and graduates struggle more than anyone when it comes to personal branding and I’m keen to know more about the exact problems people are having. I’m also curious to get some answers from those hiring in the industry and what you feel young designers are lacking most when entering the workforce.
If you are someone who wants to learn more about building an online portfolio and web presence, I would be eternally grateful if you look three minutes to answer a few questions for me. If you are an industry professional wanting to add your two cents worth, there are a few questions for you as well!
