New Tab Pages

Opening a new tab has either become an action of increased focus or yet another distraction. Regardless, the old Google page doesn’t seem to cut it anymore and these three Chrome extensions are just a few of the ones I’ve seen floating around.

Momentum

A personal dashboard designed to eliminate distraction and provide inspiration, focus, and productivity. I gave this one a go for a few weeks and liked that you can set a primary task for each day. Superstar? Who, me?

Palettab

An easy way to discover new fonts and colour palettes with every new tab. Currently trying this one out and finding it takes a bit to load, depending on my wifi connection of course.

Muzli

I’m more of a porridge girl myself, but when it come to design inspiration Muzli often satisfies. I would find this incredibly distracting if it opened for every new tab, so I’ve just bookmarked it for leisurely scrolling time instead.

Have any new tab pages you’d like to recommend? Feel free to tweet me and let me know!
