A few people have asked what apps I use to edit photos on my phone and the number one would have to be A Color Story. There are loads of filters and effects but the tools that resemble Photoshop (such as levels!) are what really set this app above the others.

Freunde von Freunden is a publication documenting inspiring people from diverse creative and cultural backgrounds. It’s based in Berlin and happens to have an awesome photography brief available online for your reference. Today I found this a helpful read when putting together a photography briefing myself.

The trouble most people have when drawing digitally is achieving an authentic brush or pen stroke without it looking like your standard stock set. This megapack of brushes is used daily by concept artists, animators and illustrators at Disney, Marvel Comics, Sony Pictures, Cartoon Network, Laika, and Dreamworks. More recently, it was discovered by my BFF who swears it has changed her illustration game for life!

To the megapack, and beyond!
